Franco Uomo at the 2026 San Jose Sharks Golf Tournament: Our Take on Sharks Teal
Franco Uomo joined the 2026 San Jose Sharks Golf Tournament, the annual members only event for SAP Center Premium Members. Yosef Shuja put up a Franco Uomo look as a prize for the winner, cut in Franco's own version of Sharks teal. It's our way of showing what Shark territory looks like dressed formally, and of celebrating Macklin Celebrini's historic contract.
Our Teal, Built for Shark Territory
Sharks teal is one of the most recognizable colors in sports. In San Jose, it's everywhere on game nights at SAP Center.
We wanted to show what that color looks like tailored. Franco's teal is our homage to the Sharks: a richer, formal take on the color, made for a sport coat you can wear from a suite at SAP Center to dinner on Santana Row. Yosef gifted the full Franco Uomo look to the player with the best round, built to the winner's measurements at our Santana Row atelier.
Inside the Sharks Golf Tournament
The Sharks Golf Tournament is one of the signature events for SAP Center Premium Members, alongside the Opening Night Celebration and the Sharks Holiday Party. It brings suite holders and business leaders from across Silicon Valley together for a day on the course.

Yosef and Olivia Ramirez ran the Franco Uomo table at the clubhouse with silk ties, cufflinks, pocket squares and fabric books from our mills. Players stopped by between rounds to talk fabric, fit and the teal.

Great to see friends of Franco out on the course too.

Jason C Takes Home the Teal
Jason C. posted the best round of the day and earned the Franco Uomo look. Next up is a fitting at Santana Row, then a debut at SAP Center this season.
"Sharks teal is San Jose. We wanted to show what it looks like when Shark territory dresses up, and there's no better year to do it than the year the Sharks locked in Macklin Celebrini."

Celebrating Macklin Celebrini's Historic Contract
This summer, the Sharks signed Macklin Celebrini to a five year, $94 million extension, making him the highest paid player in the NHL at $18.8 million a year. The deal runs from the 2027/28 season through 2031/32, and he signed it just weeks after turning 20.
He earned it. Last season, Celebrini broke the Sharks' single season points record with 115 and scored 45 goals, second most in franchise history. The first overall pick in 2024 is now the face of the franchise, locked in through 2032.
95 Overall at 20
EA Sports rated Celebrini a 95 overall in NHL 27, with a 96 in passing. He's 20 years old. That's the kind of rating usually saved for players with a decade in the league. I'm from Vancouver, so seeing a BC kid play the game he loves at this level, in the same city as Franco Uomo, is awesome. Celebrini grew up in North Vancouver and now he's the biggest name in San Jose sports.
So yes, Thursday, October 29 is circled. The Sharks host the Canucks at SAP Center at 7 PM. My hometown team against my new city's franchise player. I know which jacket I'm wearing.
