Shipping Information

FrancoUomo.com ships all orders directly from our boutique located on Santana Row in San Jose, CA via UPS. We do our best to get orders out the same day and guarantee shipping within 24-hours. Please call us at 408.247.2121 if you have any questions.

UPS Ground — $13 flat rate ($0 on Orders over $100)
UPS 2nd Day — $25 flat rate
UPS Overnight – $48 flat rate

Exchanges & Store Credits

IMPORTANT

If you are absolutely not satisfied with your purchase we will gladly provide an exchange or store credit. You must contact us and ship the item back within 14 days of receiving your order. No refunds are available. We do not provide a rental service.

EXCHANGES

All regular items (non-custom) are available for exchange or store credit only. No refunds.

EXCHANGING YOUR PURCHASE

If your item does not work out for you, a stylist will help you find a replacement item that better suits your needs. Return shipping is not included, but we will cover the cost of shipping for your replacement item.

Returned items must be in unused, unworn, unstained, undamaged condition and must be accompanied by the original packaging such as gift box, dust bag etc. .

OUR POLICY

All items returned must be shipped with a label provided by us to allow for easy identification and prompt processing. Unidentified returns may be returned to the sender.

REFUND & SHIPPING COSTS IN THE US

If your item was returned in the condition outlined above, we will provide store credit for the full purchase price, excluding costs for shipping within the continental U.S. 

We will pay for the return shipping costs within the continental US. The customer pays for the shipping of the new item.

We cannot refund shipping costs for international orders or those from Alaska and Hawaii. 

FLAWED GOODS

Goods are considered flawed if they are received in damaged condition and you inform us about the flaw within 5 days of receiving the shipment.

If you would like to exchange a flawed item instead of obtaining a refund, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If it cannot be repaired or the same product is not available, you are entitled to a full refund.

COLORS

We have made every effort to display our colors as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that other computer monitors will display colors accurately.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. In order to use some of the services on this Site you must register an account. It is required that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete . In case your data changes, please update it in My Account.

The account password you choose should be unique and kept secure. In case you notice any unauthorized use of your account, let us know. Franco Uomo cannot be held liable for your losses caused by any unauthorized use of your account, but you may be liable for Franco Uomo's losses or others due to such unauthorized use.

ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE

To place an order, you must be able to lawfully enter into and form contracts on the Internet in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

In order to make a purchase on the Site you will be required to provide your personal details, such as your real name, shipping address and e-mail address. 

By making an offer to purchase merchandise you expressly authorize us to perform credit checks. 

In addition, you agree that we may use your personal information to conduct appropriate anti-fraud checks. Personal information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.

ORDERS

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Unpurchased items left in your shopping cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. Once an order has been placed, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order.

Acceptance of your order will be confirmed upon the packing of your order. The contract between customer and Franco Uomo will be completed when the goods are dispatched to you. At that time, we will send another email containing your Order ID, tracking number if available, and a confirmation that your order has been dispatched. The sale contract is therefore concluded in the State of California, USA, and the language of the contract is English.

We reserve the right not to accept your order. I.e. if we are unable to obtain authorized payment, if shipping restrictions apply, etc.

We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site.

Generally, Franco Uomo offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our distribution center.

Franco Uomo may store a record of your transaction for a minimum of one year.

PRICING

All prices shown on the Site are in US Dollars and exclude taxes. Within the US, sales tax will only be charged on orders shipped to residents of the state of California if taxes are applicable.  

Customers purchasing from abroad will be charged for the items purchased and shipping costs only if applicable. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly by the carrier or your local tax authorities.We strongly recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

We accept all major credit cards as well as Paypal, the world's largest online payment company.

You do not need a paypal account to buy from us.

INSURANCE AND DELIVERY

By default, shipments in the Continental U.S. are insured up to $100. Franco Uomo does not insure purchases from outside the Continental U.S. during the time in transit, unless specifically requested and paid for by the customer. We may require a signature for any goods delivered. In case you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept delivery to this person as a fulfillment by Franco Uomo.

The signature can be waived. Please note, that if no signature is collected, you agree to our terms and conditions and, confirm that Franco Uomo and its affiliates can leave your package(s) outside the premises at the shipping address provided by you without obtaining a signature for proof of delivery. You authorize Franco Uomo to leave the package(s) at the shipping address without obtaining a signature and release and indemnify Franco Uomo from liability for any loss or damage that may result from leaving the package(s) at your shipping address without obtaining a signature.

Estimated delivery times are based on past experiences only and hence a mere estimate. Franco Uomo is not responsible and cannot he held liable for any delays.
