Just as we promised, 2021 was the Year of The Wedding Surge with tens of thousands of postponed Bay Area marriage ceremonies finally taking place. Silicon Valley’s most stylish men (and ladies) turned to Franco Uomo and pulled all the stops in creating signature looks fit for the history books.

As we close out the year, here’s a roundup of some of our favorite styles.

Joe & Chris tied the knot on October 9th of 2021 at The Culver Hotel in Culver City Los Angeles wearing Signature Franco Uomo Custom Suits accessorized with reversed Custom Bow Ties, Pocket Squares, and matching Silk Paisley Lapels.

It’s pretty rare that this little details is remembered to be photographed!

Akshay completing a full ensemble of color with his bride wearing his Signature 3-Piece Franco Uomo Tuxedo with an iridescent Paisley Lapel, Woven-Silk Bow Tie, matching Pocket Squares, and grey Vest.

This year was also a blockbuster move for us as we launched our custom womenswear store La Donna Bridal Atelier! Due to the pandemic and long-production time, we’re just starting to get photos in from our first brides.

Our Business & Lifestyle looks went to new levels of style as well.

Silicon Valley Tech Company Couchbase rang the bell on the New York Stock Exchange this year wearing Custom Designed Sport Coats by Franco Uomo matching their vibrant orange company color.

Our good friend Martin added some truly signature Lifestyle pieces to his wardrobe including this Off-White Signature 3-Piece Suit with Gold Buttons.

THE
CROWN JEWELS
OF 2021

No picture or video could ever truly convey the majestic quality of this suit…

Our client, Hans, is an environmentalist who reached out to us looking for a custom suit made from un-died fabric. This 3-Piece Bespoke Suit was crafted by hand for him on-site using “Pecora Nera” by Loro Piana.

The wool is the result of a multi-decade partnership with a sheep breeder in New Zealand who returned the herd to it’s natural “black” color. Sheep have been bred to be “white” over the last centuries so that they can be dyed with colors but they still have the recessive gene that occasionally appears producing the “Black Sheep” in the family. By selectively breeding the gene back into dominance, Loro Piana has succeeded in producing some of the finest wool in the world with zero impact on the environment.

Our Bespoke suit for Hans led us to create a line of Signature Sport Coats using Loro Piana’s finest wools. Originally rendered in 3D as a preview, samples are now available to view at Franco Uomo on Santana Row.

Thank you to all of our clients for trusting us for their most important days. We wish all of you a Happy New Year and a wonderful 2022!

David, Ike, Matthew, Madina, Olivia, & Elena
